Glenn talks with the most important man in America

On Today's Program

Most important man in America?

Many people have tuned the elections out because Obama won and it's over. Don't get too cozy though, because the 60 seat super-majority is not yet out of reach for Democrats. Al Franken is busy stealing the Minnesota Senate seat, and in Georgia it's a run-off. Despite beating the Democrat by over 120,000 votes, Senator Saxby Chambliss is headed for a run-off vote (in GA 50% is needed to win. Saxby missed that % by 8,000 votes). Glenn talked with Senator Chambliss today about the importance of stopping the 60 seat super-majority. Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.

Christmas Sweater

The Christmas Sweater is out -- and the reviews are coming in. As it moves up the charts, people are flooding Glenn with comments on what they thought of the book. This is a frightening prospect for Glenn because this is the story of his life...so what are the people saying about The Christmas Sweater? Check out Glenn's Amazon blog here.

Sept. 12th Americans

Glenn takes a call from a frustrated, hard working American who wants to know exactly what he is supposed to do to make sure he and his family will be safe. Glenn talks about the September 12th mentality of this country, and what amazing things we can do when we, as a nation, put our minds to it. So what should we be putting our minds to? Glenn explains. Pull for America, not a party

Glenn gives insight into the Obama/Bush meeting. The press loves to talk about how tense the meeting was, blah blah blah. Glenn says the tension wasn't because of their political differences -- it was because of the intense challenges of our time. Glenn talks about his meeting with President Bush in which the President explained that no matter who won the White House, they were 'going to have to face the same decisions I'm faced with . . . decisions that no one knows about'. Barack Obama probably found out a little bit more about those type of decisions in that meeting. Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.

For another example of putting partisanship aside, and putting America first, check out the latest Stu blog. In it Stu gives Barack Obama a 100% approval rating -- seriously.

Google flu?

Can Google really track the flu? Who knew an internet search engine would start doing the coolest stuff ever! How long is it going to be before Google is selling a Google-Chip for humans to download into their bodies? Somehow, it doesn't seem far off... Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.
