Show Highlight:

Obama's terrorist friends still a problem for his campaign

On Today's Program

CNN report on Ayers

Barack Obama has been dismissing ads by John McCain about his connection with American terrorist William Ayers as a 'smear' and a 'distraction' but is it really just a cheap political attack? Anderson Cooper did a great 'Keeping them Honest' segment devoted to getting to the bottom of the Ayers allegations (watch the Cooper segment here) and Glenn played it on the air today. Read Glenn's comments here. Insiders listen here.

Rudy G

America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, joined Glenn to talk about the economy and more as the candidates get ready for the second of three Presidential debates tonight. During the interview Rudy demonstrates why he had so many conservative supporters across the country during his run, as he (possibly more than any other candidate) understands and can explain the free market system. Will we see similar conservative viewpoints from McCain at the debate tonight? Read the transcript of Glenn's interview with Rudy. Insiders listen to it here.

Arguments Against Idiots

Your idiot friend is bound to complain to you about the latest 'attack ads' from the McCain campaign. 'Isn't it interesting that McCain has to resort to calling Obama a terrorist!'---they will argue. Well, perhaps Barack should stop befriending people who hate America---is that such a tough task? Get the winning arguments to the 'smear campaign' idiot.

Correction

Glenn had previously said that North Carolina Senator Elizabeth Dole had voted for the bailout -- but that is actually not the case. Dole voted against the bailout package, and in this segment with Glenn displayed a deep understanding of why she felt so strongly against it. Considering how many politicians today vote strictly for political purposes, it was pretty refreshing to hear. Read the transcript of the interview here. Insiders listen here.

Comrades!

Glenn wanted to prepare the audience for an Obama administration -- and what better way to do it than to release the new National Anthem (what, you don't think he'll do that? Riiiiight). You've heard the anthem before on radio -- now you can watch our new fearless leader as he gets ready to take on John McCain in front of the Politburo (all you Rocky IV fans will especially appreciate this video). Watch it here.
