The media just continues to do the best they can to make the case that Sarah Palin is a wacky, right wing nut job who should be so far away from the White House that she'd be in...well...Alaska. Glenn's latest column for CNN.com tackled many of the smears that have been furthered in the media and debunked them---Glenn says this is the perfect column to pass on to your friends to help correct their 'she said the Iraq war is a mission from God' mentality. Liberal Media Headline of the Day: 'Whites help McCain to slim lead' -- Typical liberal media to run that as the headline in a story that reported this fact: 'Fully 47 percent say Obama lacks the proper experience - an even worse reading than the 36 percent who had the same criticism about McCain running mate Sarah Palin, serving her second year as Alaska governor after being a small-town mayor.'
Biden Sighting!: Good news, the media Amber Alert on Joe Biden has paid off---he finally was covered in the news today as he gave some speech that no one cared about. Perhaps they were covering it in hopes the gaffe machine would tell someone in a wheelchair to stand up (like he did last week)? Biden had been missing from media reports since after the Democratic National Convention, around the time when Sarah Palin hit the scene.
Arguments Against Idiots
Today, Glenn argues the idiot about those crazy right wing religious zealots. 'We don't need someone who thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago with access to the nuclear codes!'.
