ABC's Charlie Gibson goes after Palin

On Today's Program

Palin's 1st lib media interview

Sarah Palin had her first prime time interview last night with Charlie Gibson on ABC. Gibson was as demeaning and condescending as you would have imagined, bringing up 'news' items that would never be brought up to candidates on the left. Gibson tried his level best to make Palin admit that she had doubts about running because of her experience level---and when Palin said 'no' he then insisted she was a little too self confident for not hesitating. Watch the first (of the several ABC chopped this up into) interview here.

And, for those on the left who mocked Palin's interview (even though she did just fine considering the ridiculousness of Gibson) here's a little reminder of what Palin's opponent, Joe 'the human gaffe machine' Biden, has been up to lately: In this clip, he's telling Democrat Chuck Graham to stand up and be recognized. Chuck Graham is a paraplegic. Surely Jon Stewart and Steve Colbert will be all over that comedy gold, right? Watch Biden's latest gaffe here .

Smearfest 2008

About 2 seconds after Palin hit the scene, the attacks have been flying. Even though most of them are ridiculous, that didn't stop the media from running with them and Charlie Gibson from confronting Palin on the made up controversies (to steal a term from Barack Obama). Truth is, the left is scared to death about Palin---they view her as a dangerous enemy---one that needs to be eliminated as soon as possible. In Glenn's latest column for CNN.com, he confronts each of the attacks head on.

Live from Ike

Thanks to Pat Gray who filled in for Glenn today from KSEV in Houston, Texas. Yes, there is a giant hurricane bearing down on Houston and Pat stayed there---despite orders to vacate---all to help his friend in need. Good friend? Sure. Insane? Yes---but at least he was indoors, unlike Geraldo, who doesn't mind risking death for a decent camera shot. Geraldo stood on top of the sea wall in Galveston Island, an area that Homeland Security said would bring 'near certain death' if folks stayed there. How about you stick to opening empty vaults, Geraldo?
