Show Highlight:

Obama/Biden pro-segregation?

On Today's Program

Obama/Biden segregationist?

Talk about bad judgement, did Barack Obama choose a running mate who is for segregation? If Senator Joe Biden's plan for Iraq is any indication of his beliefs, then that's exactly what Senator Obama did. Biden's proposal to seperate Iraq into three segregated regions that spit up the different sects is endorsed by virtually no one, although it has succeeded in unifying Iraq----all the factions involved are firmly united against Senator Biden's proposal. Almost VP

The media continues to complain about how McCain chose his running mate hastily, showing poor judgement by picking someone with little experience. Glenn talked to someone who can speak directly to how McCain vetted the candidates because he was one of the top runners up to be McCain's VP---Governor Tim Pawlenty from Minnesota. Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.

End of Times?

The Super Collider -- scientists are saying that they are 'pretty sure' we are not creating matter sucking black holes that will destroy the Earth by firing up the Collider. The goal? Certainly not a good enough one to leave a chance---even if it's a very small one---to destroy the Earth. PR for the Collider (it has its own PR?) say that they are surprised that people are hysterical, considering their assurance that there is 'virtually no chance' the Earth will be destroyed. We would be happy if you said NO CHANCE. Virtually no chance means it could still happen---and it doesn't seem to make much sense to risk our existence in order to know more about our existence. Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.

Fusion Freebie: A free sneak peek into Fusion's annual 'scariest issue' edition and the article about the Super Collider that has Glenn not caring about his diet anymore (hey, we are all gonna die, so let's eat!). Check it out here.

Stu Blog

Sarah Palin is the darling of the GOP right now and perhaps the darling of America. She turned a GOP convention that some feared might have about 10 people caring about it into the most watched convention in history. In Stu's latest case of SPS (Sarah Palin Syndrome), he gives you all the stats on the impact she is having in the race. Read the Stu Blog.

Arguments Against Idiots

Idiot: 'Everyone should have access to health care!'
You: Universal Health Care is socialism, you idiot!
Idiot: 'You are a hatemonger! Why do you hate kids who don't have healthcare!'.

There is a better way to argue your idiot friend---one that doesn't stoop to their level. Every day we include the well reasoned winning responses to your idiot friend's points---today it's Health Care. Get the winning arguments here.
