It's interesting to see those caught up in the left vs. right game completely miss when it's about right and wrong. People are actually lining up to bash Albert Pujols for accepting an award earned for putting God, family and charity at the center of his life. Controversial, right? Glenn talks about those who are now getting heat for appearing on stage last weekend, and the courage they have shown.
The media seems to be having a hard time understanding that the Restoring Honor event was actually about Restoring Honor and not a GOP election booster. Since the media completely missed the mark on the meaning of the event, Glenn recaps what it is each and every individual should be doing in their own lives to help start turning the country around.
Glenn reads the review from the New York Times, and surprisingly it's not half bad. While much of the media miss the mark completely, the Times hit at least a few nails on the head in regards to Saturdays Restoring Honor event. How does America's 'paper of record' view Saturday in DC? Find out on radio today.
It must be more Christian than science, because they have an article this week attacking Glenn because he 'stuck' Obama with the liberation theology label. Ummm, no, that was Obama's church website that 'stuck' the label to him, because that's what they believe in. Barack Obama himself has said collective salvation is what he believes, and that's not Christian. Standing by for the first issue of the 'Science' monitor... Glenn has more on radio today
The latest attack on Glenn coming from the left is that he's crazy because he talks to God. This is an interesting line of attack to take, because basically they are calling any person of faith who prays CRAZY. Glenn explains what the (apparently) Godless critics are missing.
Glenn has a to-do list for each and every person to take on leading up to the August 28th Restoring Honor Rally in Washington DC. Pray on your knees once a day. Covenant with God that you are going to stop telling lies - ANY lie. Do not tell an untruth - even to yourself! Think you can do these and more like it? Glenn has more 'to do's' on radio today.
In the Constitution, it's the Freedom of Religion. The President has quietly changed the wording of this phrase to 'Freedom of worship' which to some may seem like a matter of semantics, but Glenn says there is much more than just a word game. What difference can one word make?
Glenn has the audio today of Obama talking about how his individual salvation will 'not come about' without collective salvation. This idea is straight from the belly of the beast, it nullifies Jesus's gift on the cross and puts salvation in the hands of deeds, not grace. Even the Pope has called the idea 'demonic'.
The real people behind the movie The Blind Side are in studio...
Glenn interviews Sgt. James 'Eddie' Wright who lost both arms while serving in Iraq, but thanks to the Helping a Hero organization, they can come home to a new, specially adapted home for service members.
Even though most Americans are not aware of it, there is a battle for the soul of the country going on. If you choose to sit on the sidelines, that's your call but rest assured the fight will continue. Will we move closer towards being Europe lite? Or will we restore America to the principles that made us great? It all starts with you. Glenn wants you get off the sidelines and get down to Washington, D.C. on August 28th. Glenn talks about the upcoming event on radio today.
From health care to the economy, Beck's panel investigates the role of faith
It all started with Pat Gray signing his kid up for little league baseball. Pat was horrified to learn that even though his kid was in the 11-12 year old age range, the league was not going to keep standings because the goal was for every team to have the same number of wins and losses at the end of the season. So, Glenn has decided to start his own league - one that won't produce a generation of sissies.
Best selling author Brad Meltzer calls into the program to talk about his book 'Heroes for my Son', a wonderful book of stories about positive role models from history. Glenn talks with Brad on radio today about the desperate need for positive examples to follow and how the book can help encourage kids to actually like the Founding Fathers.

That was the headline in Time over the weekend, as they pondered Glenn's social justice commentary progressives are trying to twist in order to smear him. Now, suddenly, Time seems like they are religious zealots who suddenly care about defending God's good name. Today, Glenn talks with Scott Baker from Breitbart.tv, and they take a closer look at man behind the attacks. Would anyone be shocked if the man leading the charge is a close Obama advisor? Of course not!
The NY Times can always be counted on for being an organ for the White House and now they claim that Glenn just hates poor people...
Apparently these days it's controversial to do an ad giving thanks your son is alive. That was the case with the much anticipated Tim Tebow commercial, in which his Mom talked about her decision to choose life. This had the pro-abortion groups screaming to the mountains to stop this ad. What happened to pro 'choice'? Seems like the only choice pro-'choice' groups care about is abortion.
Today on radio Glenn talks about his trip to go buy a Christmas tree this weekend. So long as you aren't living in some bizarre world where needles and tree sap is your idea of a good time, this was probably your weekend. Freezing your butt off, pathetically attempting to saw down a tree, getting covered in sap, and then getting yelled at as the tree (no matter how it is positioned) never looks good enough. This one is for all of you men out there who long for owning a fake Christmas tree.
#1 New York Times bestselling author Richard Paul Evans, the “King of Christmas” and author of the blockbuster novel “The Christmas Box” (it sold 8 million copies!) joined Glenn today to talk about his latest book “The Christmas List.”
You’ve read the New York Times #1 Best-selling book and seen the Broadway-style stage show. Now prepare yourself for the latest incarnation of Glenn Beck’s deeply personal tale of the love, faith and family as he presents, The Christmas Sweater – A Return To Redemption…LIVE!
It's that time of year again, when people are a nice for a few weeks before they go back to being rude, selfish and obnoxious. Glenn talks with Jason Wright, author of Christmas Jars, one of the classic and most touching books you will read this holiday.
Obama is one of the most liberal politicians - especially when it comes to abortion. He's the only Illinois Senator who voiced opposition in 2001 to a bill that tried to protect babies who survived botched abortions. He will always side with the woman citing her right to choose. To have this position, one must not believe life begins at conception or even in the womb -- otherwise you would be admittedly advocating murder. So it's odd that Obama said, this Fathers Day in Parade Magazine, "That is why we need fathers to step up, to realize that their job does not end at conception". Wait, how can they be fathers at conception if the baby is not a baby at conception?
The law of consecration, which means you take all of your money and you give it to Moses.  You give all of your money to your church, 100% and then you take only that that you need, okay?  Moses couldn't make that work and so the law of consecration was too difficult for the people with the guy who parted the Red Sea and so they went down to a 10% tithing rule:  Give 10%, okay?
Comrades! A tough break on the news from the Western front -- the attempts to have the government regulate the Catholic Church in CT have failed in light of the fact that the proposed law was 'unconstitutional'. It's only a minor setback, however, as the assault on religion will continue until it succeeds, comrades!
Glenn got a call from a so called conservative who doesn't believe in God and she takes issue with Glenn's focus on God in relation to America---and she cannot understand why Glenn focuses so much on the things that people said 200 years ago. We are 'progressive' now, she argued, while quoting Glenn's favorite President to hate...Woodrow Wilson.
President Obama announced this week that he is reversing the Bush policies on no federal funding for stem cell research, citing he doesn't want 'ideology' to get in the way of 'fact'. Professor George takes issue with this line of thinking and comments on the outrageous case in Connecticut that George calls a clear attack on the 1st Amendment. Glenn says 'every person who believes in God must forget their theology for a little while and stand together...because God is under attack'.
Glenn took a call today from perhaps the rarest form of human life ever to walk the Earth---a gay conservative. She came out of the closet---and then later in life had to come out of the closet again for going against the 'gay handbook' rule that caused her 'friends' to dump her almost instantly. This caller truly displayed what living with principles is all about -- instead of conforming to what the world wants her to act like, she decide to be sincere to her beliefs and live according to her principles.
You've read the 9 principles and if you agreed with at least 7 out of 9 then you sent your picture to wesurroundthem@gmail.com and have been waiting for the next step. The principles won't stand if the people don't have values---
Glenn talks about seeing the US Airways plane that crashed in the Hudson River from his office in NYC...
Sometimes it's the little things that are important...
A Special Message from Glenn: The Christmas Sweater is a story about the idea of Christmas as a time for redemption and atonement. Whatever your beliefs about my religion, the concept of religious tolerance is too important to be sacrificed in response to pressure from special interest groups, especially when it means bowing to censorship.

Glenn does not believe in coincidences and so when the stars aligned to bring Huckabee and Glenn to the same airport at the same time in Iowa, they decided to meet.
Mike Huckabee is taking notes from the Howard Dean school of campaigning, pulling a page right from Dean's 'people out there are saying that Bush blew up the World Trade Centers ---and I'm just saying that people are saying it' strategy.
Glenn talked about his appearance on GMA yesterday in which the other guest involved in the segment said he did not believe Mormons were Christian. Fortunately, Glenn was too tired to bother getting overly upset about that claim, but it was still extremely frustrating. It got worse, though, because Glenn was asked to basically explain all of the beliefs of the Mormon Church---in about 40 seconds.
Mitt Romney is set to give his big 'Faith in America' speech tomorrow, and Glenn will be a special guest. Glenn and Stu discuss the upsides and possible downsides of Romney's decision to give the big speech.
Glenn gives a flash of his old days as a disc jockey and spins a couple of Christmas tunes, just like those all Christmas music stations do around this time of year -- when he gets interrupted by his way too politically correct program director.
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Christmas season on the isle of New York: Barney's in Manhattan has managed to make Christmas completely irrelevant with their new window displays this year.
Chris Gardner was made a household name when Will Smith portrayed him in the movie Pursuit of Happyness, a movie about Gardner's life. Gardner was a working single father who became homeless while trying to make ends meet. His incredible story is an inspiration to all, especially Glenn.
If you had 2007 in the 'which year will a Holiday Display Task Force be created' pool, you are a winner! A Colorado town has done just that, because AllahuniversegenericdeityGod knows putting up nativity scenes is a touchy subject these days.
Perhaps one of the reasons the citizens in Iraq are beginning to like Americans is because they are getting a first hand glimpse of the American spirit, like we are seeing right now in Ohio.
The ACLU claims with enthusiasm that they are committed to protecting our right to worship. How, when and anything we choose. Unfortunately they aren't practicing what they preach.
