Glenn talked with Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson and her parents -- they own a GM dealership in Minnesota and are being forced to cut ties with the company they've been doing business with for 90 years. The bizarre part is that they have been profitable for decades (only had a couple down years -- during the Carter days...shocker) and assume all the risk. Why would they be shut down? Glenn discusses what seems like a senseless job cutting move.
This guy is fed up and speaking out against government and Obama himself calling him a 'false prophet'. He's doing this even though as a Hollywood actor it probably won't help his career very much -- the loving liberals in Hollywood tend to love everyone, except of course conservatives. Listen to Glenn's interview with Jon Voight -- whose latest brilliant work came in '24' as Jonas Hodges.
Matthew Spalding joins Glenn today for a preview of his article that talks about how Progressivism has dug its roots deep into American structure---from where it started to where it's going.
Of course, moving to the right in the EU is about the same as Fidel Castro moving in line with Michael Moore. British MP Daniel Hannan explains exactly what this trend means -- are the Europeans finally seeing that the socialist policies are not working? Or are they just voting for change because things aren't going well economically at the moment. Glenn talks with our favorite conservative from the UK on today's program...
The story that just won't go away -- Amtrak-gate. Glenn's appearance on The View turned into a debacle when Whoopi and Barbara called Glenn a liar and repeatedly scolded him to 'check his facts'. Perhaps Barbara should take a bit of her own advice, because thanks to some investigative journalism by Scott Baker (Breitbart TV and The B-Cast) it looks like Glenn was (gasp) telling the truth!
Steve Milloy, author of Green Hell and founder of junkscience.com, joined Glenn to talk about how Al Gore really does care about everything green -- not the environment kind of green, but the money kind of green. Al Gore has already made a fortune off the green movement and now he stands to make billions of dollars if Cap and Trade is passed. It's almost like he has another motive to go green other than saving the Earth. How will he make billions?
Liberal Fascism, the book that opened Glenn's eyes to the progressive movement, is out in paperback and author Jonah Goldberg joins Glenn to discuss. The paperback version of the book has Jonah's outline of what Obama's presidency would look like and shockingly it's very accurate. What's the cure to the disease that is progressivism?
Author Brad Meltzer (Book of Lies) joined Glenn on the radio, and they talked comic books, Presidents and how Brad was working to save Superman's house in Cleveland. It's a historic site that was basically in ruins, but thanks to generous donations is now in the process of being restored. Also, find out what Brad said in this interview that made Glenn want to "clobber" him.
Glenn's interview with Vice President of Legal Affairs at CATO Roger Pilan
Glenn interview's with Ethics and Public Policy Center President Ed Whelan
Chris Garnder of 'Pursuit of Happyness' fame and author of 'Start Where You Are' joined Glenn today to talk about the shift in mentality our nation is seeing and why it's detrimental to actual growth. Our government is getting bigger and bigger as it tries to teach people that they cannot do it without the governments help. Gardner is absolute proof that government is absolutely NOT necessary for one to succeed -- and absolute proof that hope need not come from Washington D.C.
You can't just walk higgledy-piggledy into a socialist state or a fascist state where the government is -- and I know fascism is crazy.  I know, I know.  You know, that would imply that, you know, our president would be firing people, you know, CEOs.  It would be taking over companies.  It would be giving -- a fascist state, what would they do?  They would give giant corporations over to the people, to the workers.  I know that's crazy 55% of Chrysler went to the UAW.  I know, it's nuts.  But let's just say that that kind of activity were going on but in a friendly way.
You know, I have to tell you, the answer is to get away from the two-party system because they are both progressives.  Just progressive and progressive light.  But they're both progressives and they have been taking us down this road for over 100 years.  And everyone says there's no libertarians out there.  There are libertarians out there, and you watch them...
Glenn talks with Ed Whelan, President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center
Pat Toomey, the man who gave Specter a run for his money the last election and now made him tuck tail and run to the Democratic party, joined Glenn on radio today. This is the first interview Glenn has done with Toomey, so he spent some time getting a feel for the candidate on where he stands and what he believes. It could be the ultimate payback if he ends up running against Specter and knocks him out of the way for good.
