Glenn interviewed the New York doctor who took matters into his own hands in trying to reduce the cost of health care for his consumers. He came up with the idea of a $79 flat monthly fee that allowed patients to visit as many times as they'd like. Guess who didn't like that idea---the government! Why would the government want to allow an idea that actually helps people!

Sergent Greg Stube stopped by the program today -- and Glenn talked about why he is so in awe of our troops, especially people who are like Stube, Luttrell. Besides the obvious sacrifice that our men and women give for this country, what is it that Glenn finds particularly admirable?

Cops in Houston, Texas went to serve a narcotics warrant on a guy that they know has multiple arrests and they believe to be very dangerous---he lives in a $40,000 home and has a $50,000 security system. He watches the cops come in and shoots the first one through in cold blood. The guy turns out to be an illegal immigrant---what happened to 'they just want to live peacefully here!' Glenn talks with Michael Berry from KTRH in Houston...

Amazingly, despite President Tom's (as Glenn calls Iran's president) call for the elimination of Israel and basically war on the United States, many of todays experts on TV and even in our government are saying that we should just let Iran go nuclear. Author of the new book 'Inside the Revolution' Joel Rosenberg joined Glenn to talk about this and the latest atrocity in the radical Islam world -- the dirtbags who protested UK troops and called them baby killers.

President Obama announced this week that he is reversing the Bush policies on no federal funding for stem cell research, citing he doesn't want 'ideology' to get in the way of 'fact'. Professor George takes issue with this line of thinking and comments on the outrageous case in Connecticut that George calls a clear attack on the 1st Amendment. Glenn says 'every person who believes in God must forget their theology for a little while and stand together...because God is under attack'.

Dr. Bob Carter is in New York this week for the Global Warming conference - where it's weird -- scientists are showing up that actually disagree with the Al Gore theory on what is causing global warming? Shhh, don't tell Al!

The violence on the border has heated up to the point where the State Department has issued travel advisories warning vacationers that Mexico has erupted into violence---including kidnappings, gunfights and worse. KTAR radio host and author of the book 'Another Man's Sombrero' Darrell Ankarlo has been on the front lines of the border issue and gives Glenn the latest.

Bernie Goldberg has an article appearing in Fusion Magazine and a new book about the media and their 'slobbering love affair' with Barack Obama. Goldberg talks about the media's undying love for the One and also how he's been told Wal Mart will not carry his book because it's 'anti-Obama'. Bernie points out that his book is anti-media, not anti Obama---so if this is true, why would Wal Mart refuse to sell the book?

Slowly but surely we have gone from a nation of savers to a nation of spenders - it's a behavior that's not solely promoted by marketers but by our government as well. Shortly after 9/11 President Bush told people to get out to malls and fly on planes. Part of that was meant to say 'just live life like usual' but a bigger part was he thought that would help the economy. Same thing with President Obama - he's banking on you spending stimulus money -- that's the whole idea behind a stimulus.
