When does Congress work on the weekend? When they don't want the public to see what they are doing. This Saturday night at 8pm the Senate will vote to cut off debate on a motion to proceed to the healthcare reform bill. If 60 senators support the motion, the chamber would automatically adopt the motion to proceed to the bill and then depart. Some Senators are still on the fence. Who is being offered a $100 million bribe for their vote?
Congressman Murtha (D-PA) is consistently ranked as one of the most corrupt members of Congress. He avoided prosecution in 1980 in the ABCSAM scandal because he testified against others. Since then he's done nothing but waste hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money on things like the John Murtha airport, which has 3 planes leave everyday. Pat talks about his latest affront to the Constitution.

Just like the original 2,032-page, government-run health care plan from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) massive, 2,074-page bill would levy a new “abortion premium” fee on Americans in the government-run plan.
When polling Americans about healthcare, there are ways to get two very different answers to the same question. Like healthcare, for example. If you ask people 'should everyone be required to have healthcare'' the answer comes back 67% yes, 27% no. But, when the question is rephrased to 'should we require everybody to carry insurance, or face a federal penalty' it flips and 64% say no, and 28% yes. Perhaps if the media would bother reporting on all of the new taxes this plan carries with it, support would dip even lower? Here are the new taxes in the healthcare bill.
